Honda City, Elevate, Amaze get discounts of up to Rs 1.32 lakh

Honda Cars India has joined the list of manufacturers rolling out substantial benefits this Diwali 2025, with discounts and schemes now available on the Creta-rivalling Elevate SUV, the City midsize sedan that takes on the Virtus, Slavia and the Verna and the Amaze compact sedan which is the direct rival to the Dzire.

The offers, valid through October 2025, include a mix of direct cash discounts, loyalty bonuses, exchange offers, corporate schemes and buyback programmes, making Honda’s car and SUV range more attractive at a time when buyer sentiment is already strong. The schemes come on the back of the GST 2.0 revisions, which themselves lowered Honda’s sticker prices by as much as ₹95,500 depending on the model.

Of the three Honda models on sale in India, it is the Elevate SUV that carries the most generous festive benefits this month. On the top-spec Elevate ZX trim, buyers can save as much as Rs 1.32 lakh, making it one of the more competitive offerings in the crowded midsize SUV segment. The VX trim follows with discounts of up to Rs 73,000, while the one-above-base V variant carries benefits of up to Rs 57,000. Even the entry-level SV variant is being offered with a modest Rs 25,000 discount.

Honda is also leveraging the festive push to highlight some of its new accessory packs. The recently introduced Alpha-Bold Plus grille, for instance, is being offered at a reduced price of Rs 9,900, down from Rs 16,500, until October 31. Similarly, the Honda Elevate Signature Black Edition accessory package, which bundles in black accents for a sportier look, is available at Rs 29,900 instead of Rs 36,500. Honda is also continuing to throw in premium accessories such as a 360-degree camera and ambient lighting at no additional cost, further sweetening the deal for potential Elevate buyers.

The Honda City, a mainstay of the brand’s Indian portfolio for over two decades, is also being offered with significant festive savings. The petrol-powered SV, V and VX trims are all available with benefits of up to Rs 1.27 lakh, making them compelling options in a segment that has seen renewed competition. The top-end petrol Honda City ZX variant, meanwhile, is being offered with up to ₹1.02 lakh off.

While the Honda City hybrid has not been included in this month’s discount campaign, Honda had already revised its price downward by close to Rs 1 lakh earlier in July, keeping the electrified sedan competitive against rivals.

The Dzire rivaling Amaze compact sedan is being offered with savings as well. Honda continues to sell both the second-generation Amaze in the S trim and the newly introduced third-generation model side by side. Buyers of the outgoing Amaze S can avail of up to Rs 97,200 in benefits, while the newer model is being offered with discounts of up to Rs 67,200. The top-spec new-gen Honda Amaze ZX CVT has also received a price revision of its own, dropping by Rs 25,000 and now sitting at Rs 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom.

As with all festive offers, availability will vary depending on city and dealer stock, and Honda has advised customers to check with their local outlets for precise figures.
