
Sterling Tools on Tuesday announced that its motor controller subsidiary, Sterling Gtake, has been rebranded as Sterling E-Mobility Solutions, signalling a strategic shift towards becoming a comprehensive provider of electric vehicle (EV) technologies.
According to the official press release, the rebranding reflects the company’s expanding portfolio and its focus on delivering integrated solutions for EV powertrains and power electronics. Sterling aims to leverage global innovation and local expertise to strengthen its position in India’s growing EV ecosystem.

Sterling has recently entered technology partnerships with Advanced Electric Machines (AEM), UK, for magnet-free motors, and Landworld Technology, China, for on-board chargers and DC/DC converters. Its exclusive relationship with Jiangsu Gtake Electric for the Indian market continues, with multiple products being developed and localised for domestic requirements.
The company’s product branding will now highlight collaborations with Gtake, AEM, and Landworld, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and transparency in the EV sector.
