Volkswagen Opens New Dealership in Pimpri-Chinchwad

Volkswagen India has inaugurated a new customer touchpoint in Pimpri-Chinchwad, extending the brand’s reach in Maharashtra’s automotive market. The facility marks the company’s continued expansion in western India, targeting the region’s growing demand for premium mobility options.

Located at Plot No. 64/2, D 2 Block, Chinchwad MIDC, the new city store features a three-car display area designed to showcase Volkswagen’s current lineup. Customers will have access to the Taigun and Virtus models, both holders of 5-star Global NCAP safety ratings, as well as the Tiguan R-Line SUV.

The showroom aims to provide what the company describes as an immersive brand experience, supported by a team of trained professionals. The facility is equipped to handle both sales and customer service requirements for buyers in Pune and surrounding areas.

Nitin Kohli, Brand Director of Volkswagen India, noted that Pune represents a significant market for the brand. “With the inauguration of Volkswagen Pimpri Chinchwad, we’re not just expanding our footprint but also deepening our connection with our customers by making world-class mobility more accessible, convenient, and engaging,” Kohli stated.

Shailesh Bhandari, Director of Volkswagen Pimpri Chinchwad, emphasized the dealership’s partnership history with the brand. “We have been one of the first partners for the brand Volkswagen in India,” Bhandari said, adding that the facility has been designed to offer customers the opportunity to explore the portfolio and receive expert guidance throughout the ownership journey.

The new touchpoint brings Volkswagen’s total network in Maharashtra to 18 sales locations and 16 service centers. The expansion comes as the automaker seeks to strengthen its position in India’s competitive automotive sector, particularly in cities with established manufacturing and engineering communities.

Volkswagen India operates as a division of SAVWIPL, with its registered office located in Chakan, Pune. The company currently offers four models in the Indian market: Taigun, Virtus, Tiguan R-Line, and Golf GTI.
