Tata Motors has expanded the Nexon lineup with the addition of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and reintroduced the Nexon Red #Dark Edition, further strengthening its position as India’s best-selling car. The ADAS-equipped Nexon Fearless+ PS DCA variant is priced at Rs 13.53 lakh (ex-showroom). The ADAS tech on the Nexon includes Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Lane Centering System (LCS), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), High Beam Assist (HBA), and Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR). According to Tata Motors, these features are designed to improve driver awareness, enhance reaction time, and help prevent potential collisions, further bolstering the Nexon’s already-strong safety credentials.

Nexon Red #Dark Edition makes a comeback

To celebrate the Nexon’s recent sales milestone, Tata Motors has reintroduced the exclusive Red #Dark Edition, available across petrol, diesel, and CNG powertrains. Prices for the 2025 Tata Nexon Red Dark Edition start at Rs 12.44 lakh, going up to Rs 14.15 lakh depending on engine and transmission.

The Red #Dark Edition features Atlas Black paint, red accents, and a #Dark mascot in red, with piano black grille surrounds, roof rails, and skid plates enhancing the stealthy look. Inside, the Granite Black cabin features red leatherette ventilated seats with contrast stitching, red highlights on the dashboard and center console, and #Dark-embroidered headrests. Premium material finishes and a rear sunshade add to cabin comfort.

Commenting on the launch, Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, said the Nexon “continues to evolve with technology and design while reinforcing Tata’s leadership in safety and performance.” The Nexon, which recently became the No.1 selling car in India in September 2025, continues to build on its safety legacy — it remains the only SUV to secure dual 5-star safety ratings from both GNCAP and BNCAP.

Key rivals to the Nexon include the Maruti Brezza, Kia Syros, Skoda Kylaq, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue and a long list of other sub-four-meter compact SUVs.
