Highway Infrastructure Limited has entered into a contract agreement with Atal Indore City Transport Services Limited (AICTSL) for the execution of e-bus charging infrastructure worth Rs 1.96 crore.
The contract, signed on October 15, 2025, and confirmed by the competent authority on October 28, 2025, involves EPC services including supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of external electrification infrastructure for e-bus charging at Nayta Mundla under the PM E-Bus Seva initiative.
According to the company’s regulatory filing with stock exchanges, the project has a completion timeline of four months from the contract signing date. Highway Infrastructure Limited will be required to provide performance security of 3% of the service contract value in the form of a Term Deposit Receipt, along with an additional performance bank guarantee of 13% of the contract value.
The contract award is part of the government’s PM E-Bus Seva scheme aimed at promoting electric mobility in urban transport systems. The company confirmed that this is a domestic contract with no involvement of promoter or promoter group companies in the awarding entity, and it does not fall within related party transactions.
