Job cuts at car manufacturers: Opel sets severance program for the time being

The carmaker Opel has suspended its severance pay program for younger workers according to works council information for the time being. The company has committed itself to 28/29. It is said in an IG-Metall circular distributed to employees on Wednesday that it will no longer be able to conclude or approve new termination agreements.
