Toyota Material Handling invests in Advanced Charging Technologies to advance electric equipment

Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA), composed of the Raymond Corporation and Toyota Material Handling brands, has made a strategic investment in Advanced Charging Technologies (ACT). ACT, a provider of battery charging solutions to both Raymond and Toyota, develops advanced charging technologies specifically for the material handling sector. The investment will expand ACT’s role within its distribution network and bolster its position as a preferred vendor of next-generation energy solutions.

ACT develops battery charging systems engineered for high-capacity, lithium-ion powered equipment such as order pickers used in warehouse and logistics operations. ACT’s charging technologies are already in use, supporting new electric-powered equipment offerings, including Raymond’s lithium-ion high-capacity order pickers.

“ACT has been a trusted partner for many years, providing proven, reliable technologies that support our vision of advancing sustainable, electric-powered solutions in the material handling industry,” said Brett Wood, President and CEO of TMHNA. “Through this investment, we are strengthening that relationship while opening new opportunities to serve our customers with innovative, integrated energy solutions.”
