Simple Energy Reports Strong Sales Growth with 1,050 Units Sold in October

Simple Energy has reported significant growth in its operations, recording 1,050 unit sales in October 2025 and exceeding its entire fiscal year 2024-25 revenue by over 125 percent as of October 2025.

The company’s October sales comprised 974 units registered through the Vahan portal, excluding Telangana, and 76 units sold in Telangana. This represents the company’s strongest monthly performance to date.

To address increasing demand, Simple Energy has increased production capacity by 40 percent at its 200,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. The company has also expanded its marketing team to over 40 professionals to support its growth strategy.

The sales performance is attributed to the company’s two electric scooter models, the Simple ONE Gen 1.5 and Simple OneS, both launched in January 2025. The vehicles offer IDC ranges of 248 kilometers and 181 kilometers respectively.

Simple Energy currently operates 61 retail outlets across major Indian cities including Bengaluru, Goa, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kochi, Chennai, Agra, and Jaipur. The company plans to establish 150 retail stores and service centers by March 2026.

“Surpassing last year’s revenue by over 125% in just seven months and crossing the 1,000-unit sales mark reflects the strong trust customers have placed in Simple Energy,” said Suhas Rajkumar, Founder and CEO of Simple Energy.

The company plans to enter five new markets in the coming months, including Delhi, Bhopal, Patna, Ranchi, and Bhubaneswar. In September 2025, Simple Energy became the first Indian original equipment manufacturer to commercially produce heavy rare-earth-free motors.

Founded in 2019 by Suhas Rajkumar and Shreshth Mishra, with Ankit Gupta joining as co-founder later, Simple Energy develops electric two-wheelers with in-house designed components including chassis, battery, motor, and software.
