ElektrikExpress, an AI-driven urban mobility platform, has deployed 500 electric delivery vehicles across six major Indian cities as part of its expansion into the last-mile logistics sector.
The Pune-based company has established operations in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Pune, Mumbai, and Thane, with signed agreements with 10 quick-commerce partners. The firm plans to scale its fleet to over 5,000 vehicles by March 2026.
ElektrikExpress operates a range of electric vehicles including cargo cycles, electric two-wheelers, and electric trikes designed for urban deliveries. The vehicles are managed through the company’s MicroLogi™ logistics intelligence system, which the company says reduced fleet downtime by 30% during pilot operations through predictive maintenance alerts.
The platform reports that its operations have prevented over 100 tons of CO₂ emissions in its first six months. The company employs more than 300 women riders, who constitute approximately 70% of its active rider base.
“We’re building India’s most inclusive and intelligent mobility platform — where safety, sustainability, and livelihood go hand in hand,” said Chintamani Sardesai, Founder and CEO of ElektrikExpress. “ElektrikExpress was never just about vehicles; it’s about people and purpose.”
The company has partnered with Helpline Dial4567 Workforce Shield, a safety platform offering emergency response, live tracking, and support services for gig workers and riders.
ElektrikExpress generates revenue through multiple channels including per-kilometer charges, advertising, data services, microfinancing, and fintech integrations alongside its core delivery operations.
The expansion comes as India’s quick-commerce and e-grocery sectors experience rapid growth, driving demand for last-mile delivery infrastructure in urban areas.
