Mahindra & Mahindra on Tuesday said it plans to set up 250 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations equipped with 180 kW chargers and over 1,000 individual charging points by the end of 2027, as part of its Charge_IN network aimed at strengthening India’s long-distance EV charging infrastructure.
The company in its official press release said that it has commissioned its first two Charge_IN stations at Hoskote on the Bengaluru–Chennai highway and at Murthal on NH 44, about 50 km from Delhi. Each location is equipped with two 180 kW chargers, enabling simultaneous charging for up to four electric vehicles.

With our ultrafast Charge_IN network, we aim to make long-distance EV travel as effortless as conventional driving and accelerate India’s transition to electric mobility.
The Charge_IN network will exclusively feature 180 kW dual-gun chargers capable of charging Mahindra’s eSUVs — XEV 9e, BE 6 and the upcoming XEV 9S — from 20 to 80 per cent in about 20 minutes. The company said the initiative is designed to make intercity and highway EV travel practical and reliable.
Mahindra eSUV owners can access the Charge_IN network through the Me4U app to locate stations, charge and make payments. The chargers will also be accessible to EV users from other brands via the ‘Charge_IN by Mahindra’ app and other charging aggregator platforms.
