Battery-swapping solutions provider Indofast Energy on Tuesday signed a strategic partnership with Quantum Energy to power the new ‘Bziness XSelectric scooter through its battery-swapping technology.

Priced at an introductory ₹57,750 (ex-showroom, BaaS option), the Bziness XS is among the most affordable electric scooters in the market. Indofast Energy is offering flexible energy plans starting at ₹999 per month and EMI options beginning at ₹1,499, helping reduce the high upfront cost traditionally associated with EV ownership.

The partnership leverages Indofast Energy’s 1,100+ battery swap stations, enabling users to swap batteries in under two minutes, effectively eliminating charging time and addressing range anxiety. The Bziness XS has been engineered for Indian road conditions, promising durability, efficiency, and eco-friendliness, with Quantum Energy providing the technical expertise behind the scooter.

“Our partnership with Quantum Energy marks a key step in transforming battery swapping from a niche solution to the default choice for electric mobility,” said Anant Badjatya, CEO, Indofast Energy.

“Mobility in India is shifting from ownership to access, and from fuel-driven to electric solutions. The Bziness XS, supported by Indofast’s extensive swap network, delivers unmatched uptime, affordability, and operational flexibility for both fleet operators and everyday riders,” added Chakravarthi C, Managing Director, Quantum Energy.

Under the partnership, 1,000 Bziness XS scooters will be deployed via Indofast’s network in FY 2025-26, with plans to expand to 10,000 vehicles over the next three years.
