“We congratulate Dr. Dinglreiter on his presidency of Gesamtmetall and look forward to a good collaboration. Area collective agreements create fair and comparable working and competitive conditions. Every day, as collective bargaining partners in booming and crisis-hit companies, we prove how valuable and full our collective bargaining toolbox is. We look forward to being able to convince the new Gesamtmetall president of this in our 2026 collective bargaining round. We will leave no stone unturned to also allow Mr. Dinglreiter to be bound by collective bargaining as an employer convincing. In view of the economic challenges, employees need collective agreement and reliability from the social partners.
