SANY India showcased its advanced product portfolio at EXCON 2025 held in Bengaluru from December 9. The company showcased 39 next-generation machines spanning excavation, mining, hoisting, material handling, road equipment and electric logistics. The line-up underscored the company’s focus on productivity, sustainability, digital intelligence and cost efficiency for large-scale infrastructure execution.
Deepak Garg, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, SANY India & South Asia, said EXCON 2025 represented a defining moment for both the company and India’s infrastructure ambitions. “The products we unveiled brought global innovation to Indian soil — more intelligent, efficient and sustainable than ever before. Every machine reflected our focus on enhancing customer productivity while contributing to national progress,” he said.
Expanded portfolio
Among the key highlights was SANY India’s expanded excavator portfolio, including models such as SY33C PRO, SY38U PRO, SY150C PRO, SY220C-9 XL SPARC+ and SY390C-10 HD GraMa+, addressing applications ranging from urban construction to heavy mining. The company also debuted electric excavators, including the 21-tonne SY215EP and the 38-tonne SY375EP, both cable-operated and designed to deliver zero emissions and up to three times lower operating cost savings compared with diesel equipment.
Electrification drive
The electric portfolio extended beyond excavation. SANY introduced India’s first outdoor-ready 3-tonne and 5-tonne electric forklifts, engineered for ports, factories, steel plants and logistics hubs. In mining, the company unveiled the SY680EP 65-tonne electric excavator, alongside electric and high-capacity diesel loaders aimed at improving efficiency and reducing emissions in large-scale operations.
In foundation equipment, SANY launched the SR235 MIII multifunctional drilling rig, capable of executing multiple piling techniques with a single machine. The company also marked its entry into electric heavy-duty trucks, targeting long-haul and industrial logistics with significantly lower operating costs and advanced safety systems.
The hoisting segment saw the launch of the SRC400CR BS-V rough-terrain crane, while the road equipment portfolio expanded with new single-drum, double-drum and pneumatic rollers designed for improved compaction and durability.
Localisation push
Sanjay Saxena, chief operating officer, SANY India, said the product introductions were based on extensive feedback from Indian customers. “With higher uptime, electrification and India-specific engineering, we enabled faster, safer and more sustainable project execution,” he said.
With over 30,000 machines operating in India, more than 260 sales and service touchpoints, and a manufacturing facility in Pune, SANY India continued to deepen localisation and R&D investments as it positioned itself for the next phase of infrastructure-led growth.
