JK Tyre Orange 4X4 Fury International Concludes in Arunachal Pradesh

The JK Tyre Orange 4X4 Fury International off-road rally concluded successfully in Arunachal Pradesh, drawing participants from across India as well as teams from Thailand and Malaysia. The event was held as part of the Orange Festival of Adventure and Music across Namsai, Lohit, Lower Dibang Valley, and East Siang districts.

The rally was ceremonially flagged off on December 18, 2025, from the Golden Pagoda in Namsai by Shri Abu Tayeng, IAS, Secretary of Sports & Youth Affairs. A prologue stage had taken place the previous evening in total darkness inside the Bereng River, with Ujjal Namshum, the current Rainforest India Challenge leader, setting an early pace.

Fifty off-roading vehicles participated in the competition, divided into Pro-Modified and Stock categories. Each team fielded two vehicles to provide mutual support during the endurance stages. Over three days, competitors navigated challenging terrain including riverbeds, forest trails, and sandbanks along the Lohit, Dibang, and Sisiri river regions.

The prize distribution ceremony was attended by Shri Ramesh Linggi, Director of Sports & Youth Affairs, Government of Arunachal Pradesh. The event ran concurrently with the Orange Music Festival, which featured performances by Sunidhi Chauhan, Adnan Sami, Benny Dayal, Raftaar, and regional artists.

The four-day festival, held from December 18 to 21, recorded attendance of over 15,000 visitors on a single day. The event was supported by the Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, and JK Tyre.

In the Pro-Modified category, Ujjal Namshum/Sujeewan and Chethan Chengappa/Sachin Saikia claimed victory with a penalty time of 04:50:35. Rakshith KR/Rajkumar and Devineni Sri Vankat/Rakesh Bura finished as first runners-up with a penalty of 05:18:18, while Kranthi Kumar Vengala/KM Mayur Bopaiah and Rambabu Mareedu/Thalam Kumaraswamy secured second runner-up position with a penalty of 06:11:23.

The Stock category was won by Krishna Phani Dhanekula/Prudhvi Sistla and Bhaskar Raju/Mutthu Kumuran with a penalty time of 03:34:21. Jaong Gam Mirip Singpho/Jawjun Mirip and Hagechada/Praritosh Barman finished as first runners-up with a penalty of 03:57:24, followed by Ravi Chandra Arra/Vikas Kumar Gopu and Sumanth Potluri/Bhargav Chowdary as second runners-up with a penalty of 03:58:32.

In the Women’s Class, Joi Basar and Ringam Doni emerged as winners.

JK Tyre has maintained a presence in Northeast India through associations with events including the Hornbill Festival in Nagaland and the Orange Festival of Adventure and Music in Arunachal Pradesh.
