TVS Motor Company reported its highest quarterly sales during the third quarter of financial year 2025-26, with total sales reaching 15.44 lakh units, representing a 27 percent increase over the same period last year.
The company sold 481,389 units in December 2025, marking a 50 percent increase compared to 321,687 units in December 2024. However, sales declined from November 2025, when the company recorded 519,508 units, representing a month-over-month decrease of 7.3 percent.
Two-wheeler sales in December totaled 461,071 units, up 48 percent from 312,002 units in December 2024. Domestic two-wheeler sales grew 54 percent to 330,362 units from 215,075 units in the year-ago period. Motorcycle sales increased 50 percent to 216,867 units from 144,811 units, while scooter sales rose 48 percent to 198,017 units from 133,919 units in December 2024. For the full third quarter, two-wheeler sales reached 14.84 lakh units, up 25 percent from 11.83 lakh units in Q3FY25.
Electric vehicle sales grew 77 percent in December, reaching 35,605 units compared to 20,171 units in December 2024. Three-wheeler sales more than doubled, increasing 110 percent to 20,318 units from 9,685 units. The three-wheeler segment recorded quarterly growth of 106 percent, with sales rising from 0.29 lakh units in Q3FY25 to 0.60 lakh units in Q3FY26.
Export sales in December totaled 146,022 units, a 40 percent increase from 104,393 units in December 2024. Two-wheeler exports grew 35 percent to 130,709 units from 96,927 units. For the quarter, international business sales increased 40 percent to 4.10 lakh units from 2.94 lakh units in Q3FY25.
TVS Motor Company operates four manufacturing facilities in India and Indonesia and sells products in 80 countries. The company is the only two-wheeler manufacturer to have received the Deming Prize and owns Norton Motorcycles in the United Kingdom and TVS Ebike Company AG in Switzerland.
