TVS Motor Company sales soar 50% in December 2025

TVS Motor Company on Thursday reported total sales of 481,389 units in December 2025, an increase of 50 per cent compared with 321,687 units in December 2024.

Two-wheeler sales rose to 461,071 units during the month, up from 312,002 units a year earlier. Domestic two-wheeler sales increased to 330,362 units, compared with 215,075 units in December 2024. Motorcycle volumes grew to 216,867 units from 144,811 units, while scooter sales rose to 198,017 units from 133,919 units.

Electric vehicle sales stood at 35,605 units in December 2025, up from 20,171 units in the year-ago period.

Exports increased to 146,022 units during the month, compared with 104,393 units in December 2024. Two-wheeler exports rose to 130,709 units from 96,927 units a year earlier.

Three-wheeler sales increased to 20,318 units in December, compared with 9,685 units in the same month last year.

Q3 FY26 sales performance

During the third quarter of the financial year 2025-26, the company registered the highest ever quarterly sales of 15.44 lakh units.

The two-wheeler of the company registered a growth of 25 per cent with sales increasing from 11.83 lakh units in Q3FY25 to 14.84 lakh units in Q3FY26.

Three-wheelers registered a growth of 106 per cent with sales increasing from 0.29 lakh units in Q3FY25 to 0.60 lakh units in Q3FY26.

In the International business, the company registered a growth of 40 per cent with sales increasing from 2.94 lakh units in Q3FY25 to 4.10 lakh units in Q3FY26.
