Kia India Launches All-New Seltos Starting at ₹10.99 Lakh

Kia India has announced pricing for the all-new Seltos, starting at ₹10.99 lakh (ex-showroom), introducing the second generation of its mid-size SUV to the Indian market.

The updated Seltos features revised dimensions, measuring 4,460 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width, with a 2,690 mm wheelbase. These measurements position it at the larger end of its segment, contributing to increased interior space.

“The All-New Kia Seltos marks a strong evolution of a nameplate that has shaped Kia’s journey in India,” said Gwanggu Lee, Managing Director and CEO of Kia India. “With this new generation, our intent is clear—to redefine the mid-SUV segment by raising standards across space, safety, technology and overall ownership experience.”

The exterior incorporates Kia’s Opposites United design philosophy, featuring a Digital Tiger Face grille. The vehicle includes automatic streamline door handles, a feature not commonly found in this segment, along with ice cube LED projection headlamps. It is equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels with neon brake calipers and an integrated rear spoiler with a concealed rear wiper.

Ten monotone color options are available, including two additions: Morning Haze and Magma Red.

The interior features a 75.18 cm (30-inch) Trinity Panoramic Display Panel and a dual-tone leatherette-wrapped steering wheel. Audio is provided through an eight-speaker Bose system, with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity included.

Notable interior features include a smart key proximity unlock function and a 10-way power-adjustable driver seat with lumbar support. The driver’s seat offers a relaxation function and memory settings that link to outside rearview mirror positions. Ventilated front seats, a welcome retract seat function, and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof are also available.

The vehicle is built on Kia’s K3 platform, appearing in India for the first time. The platform architecture provides structural rigidity and noise insulation characteristics designed for improved ride quality.

Standard safety equipment includes six airbags, an anti-lock brake system, and hill-start assist control across all variants. Select variants offer Level 2 ADAS with 21 autonomous driving assistance features.

Three engine options are available: a Smartstream G1.5 petrol, a Smartstream G1.5 T-GDI turbocharged petrol, and a 1.5-liter CRDi VGT diesel. Transmission options include six-speed manual, six-speed intelligent manual, IVT, seven-speed dual-clutch, and six-speed automatic variants.

The Seltos is offered in four base trims—HTE, HTK, HTX, and GTX/X-Line—with four option packages: HTE(O), HTK(O), HTX(A), and GTX(A)/X-Line(A). These correspond to Convenience and Styling, Premium, ADAS, and X Line configurations.

Kia India’s MyKia app provides service booking, cost estimates, and live consultations through Kia Krystal. The company offers warranty extension up to seven years, My Convenience service plans, and roadside assistance up to eight years.

Production takes place at Kia’s Anantapur facility in Andhra Pradesh, which has a 300,000-unit annual capacity. The company maintains 821 touchpoints across 369 cities for sales and service.

Since beginning operations in August 2019, Kia India has dispatched approximately 1.5 million vehicles, comprising over 1.2 million domestic sales and more than 367,000 exports. The company reports over 495,000 connected vehicles currently operating in India.
