Kazam posts ₹40 crore revenue in FY25 on EV charging expansion

Kazam, an electric vehicle (EV) charging and energy management platform, reported a 3.5 times year-on-year jump in revenue to ₹40 crore in FY25, driven by rapid expansion of its charging network and higher platform usage.

The company said in an official statement that it was on track to reach a ₹100 crore annual revenue run-rate by the fourth quarter of calendar year 2025, supported by growth in charger integrations, charging sessions and enterprise partnerships.

“India’s EV transition is moving from creating charging availability to building reliable and interoperable energy infrastructure,” said Akshay Shekhar, co-founder and CEO, Kazam, adding that the company’s growth reflects increasing adoption of unified charging and energy management platforms.

Kazam has onboarded over 120,000 chargers across India and enabled over seven million charging sessions to date. In the past six months alone, charger integrations rose 76 per cent, while charging sessions increased 60 per cent. The platform currently manages more than 9,000 MWh of energy transactions every month, up 60 per cent since June 2025.

The Bengaluru-based company operates a device-agnostic platform that connects chargers, vehicles and the power grid across homes, workplaces, fleet depots and public charging networks.

The company works with over 14 vehicle OEMs and has partnerships across quick commerce companies, ONGC, regional distribution companies, and others. It has been expanding its presence in tier-II and tier-III cities.
