Noida: Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has issued a letter of intent to Neenjas Electric for a 20,000 sq metre plot in Sector 8D to set up a mega facility. The company develops advanced electric vehicle charging solutions, including on-board and non-on-board chargers, IP-rated EV chargers and AC-DC power converters. The company will invest approximately ₹169 crore in the project.
The Authority’s CEO, Rakesh Kumar Singh, said the allotment would give a boost to the ‘Make in India’ initiative and strengthen the country’s electric vehicle infrastructure. The site will serve as a hub for the company’s expansion in advanced EV technology and renewable energy storage solutions. The project will focus on large-scale manufacturing of onboard EV chargers and solar power banks.
The company plans to develop onboard chargers tailored to Indian conditions and manufacture solar power banks designed to enhance energy self-reliance for the common man.
Officials said that the project is expected to create employment opportunities for locals and solidify Greater Noida’s position as a global hub for green technology manufacturing.
With the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar, investing in an industrial plot is widely seen as a strong long-term investment opportunity. Proximity to an international airport reduces transportation time and logistics costs, making the area highly attractive for manufacturing units, export-oriented industries, warehousing, e-commerce, and cold-chain businesses.
