BillionE Mobility Secures $25 Million to Expand Electric Truck Fleet

BillionElectric Mobility has raised $25 million in growth capital through a combination of equity and debt financing to expand its electric truck operations across India’s industrial corridors.

The funding round was supported by ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and financial institutions including State Bank of India. The capital will fund the deployment of more than 500 electric trucks during the 2026-27 financial year, along with fleet management systems and technology infrastructure.

BillionE Mobility operates as an E-Mobility-as-a-Service platform focused on decarbonizing mid-mile and long-haul freight transport. The company has outlined plans to deploy over 1,500 electric trucks within the next two to three years, subject to customer demand and financing arrangements.

“We are moving beyond pilots to scaled, real-world deployments where execution, reliability, and economics matter most,” said Sanjeev Kulkarni, CEO and co-founder of BillionE Mobility. “The capital will allow us to accelerate fleet expansion, strengthen operational readiness, and deepen partnerships with customers committed to decarbonising their logistics.”

Kartikey Hariyani, founder and chief platform architect of the BillionE platform, which includes ChargeZone and Billion Electric, noted that the company is experiencing 120% year-over-year growth. He stated that electric trucks in the 19-tonne and 55-tonne categories have achieved total cost of ownership parity with diesel vehicles on certain routes.

The expanded fleet will serve sectors including cement, automotive, third-party logistics, metals, fast-moving consumer goods, chemicals, e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, and minerals. These industries typically operate on predictable routes with high vehicle utilization rates.

BillionE Mobility’s expansion strategy covers industrial clusters and freight corridors across India. CHARGE ZONE, a group-affiliated company described as one of India’s largest EV charging networks, is developing charging infrastructure along these corridors to support the electric truck operations.

The company projects that its growing electric fleet will reduce tailpipe emissions and lower carbon intensity in freight and industrial logistics operations.

BillionE Mobility positions itself as an integrated platform combining electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, and fleet management technology to enable the transition to zero-emission commercial transportation in India.
