ZF CV Control Systems India Clarifies ADAS Business Sale Does Not Affect CV Operations

ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Limited has clarified that the sale of its parent company’s Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) business to Harman International Inc., announced on December 23, 2025, does not affect its commercial vehicle operations in India. The company issued the clarification to stock exchanges following investor inquiries about the transaction’s impact on Indian operations.

The company confirmed that the ADAS business transfer applies exclusively to ZF’s passenger car ADAS division, including compute solutions, camera, radar, and passenger car ADAS functions. The sale does not pertain to the ADAS portfolio of ZF’s Commercial Vehicle Solutions (CVS) Division.

ZF CVS stated that its development, supply, service, and support of ADAS solutions for commercial vehicles, including trucks, coaches, and buses, remain unaffected. Existing customer contracts, service arrangements, and delivery schedules continue without interruption.

The company had previously announced on December 3, 2025, that it secured an ADAS business nomination from an Indian e-mobility commercial vehicle original equipment manufacturer (OEM).

ZF CVS confirmed that customer engineering, program, and service interfaces remain unchanged. The division retains dedicated teams, capabilities, and governance for commercial vehicle ADAS development and will continue investing in ADAS innovations for commercial transport.

The clarification was submitted to BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The letter was signed by Muthulakshmi M, Company Secretary of ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Limited.

ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Limited, formerly WABCO India Limited, is headquartered in Chennai with its registered office at Ambattur Industrial Estate.
