STUDDS Launches Trooper Superman Edition Flip-Up Helmet in India

STUDDS Accessories Ltd. has launched the Trooper Superman Edition helmet, bringing Superman-inspired graphics to its flip-up helmet category. The release marks an expansion of the company’s collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products following the earlier Superman ‘Man of Steel’ edition on the Studds Helios full-face model.

The helmet features a high-impact engineered thermoplastic outer shell and carries ISI certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards and DOT certification from the Department of Transportation, USA. The full-face flip-up design allows riders to lift the chin bar without removing the helmet, intended for use during traffic stops and short interactions while maintaining protection when locked during rides.

Sidhartha Bhushan Khurana, Managing Director of STUDDS Accessories Ltd., stated that the launch extends the Superman identity to the company’s premium flip-up helmet category. He emphasized the company’s commitment to offering riders helmets that provide protection while reflecting personality and riding style.

The helmet incorporates several functional features including a hypoallergenic replaceable liner designed to minimize skin irritation, a removable lower trim for maintenance, and a quick-release visor system. Additional specifications include a UV-resistant paint finish to protect the exterior from sun exposure, a quick-release chin strap, and a stainless-steel rust-proof buckle.

The Superman graphics feature angular panels and layered detailing adapted to the Trooper’s flip-up construction. The design aims to appeal to riders seeking safety gear with a distinctive visual identity.

The STUDDS Trooper Superman Edition is available in Medium, Large, and Extra Large sizes with prices starting at Rs 2,290. The helmet is being sold through offline retail shops, STUDDS exclusive outlets, and the company’s official website.

STUDDS Accessories Ltd. claims to be the world’s largest two-wheeler helmet manufacturer by volume in Calendar Year 2024, according to a CARE Report. The company operates three manufacturing facilities with a combined annualized capacity of 9.04 million units and reported sales of approximately 7.10 million helmets in Fiscal 2024. The company markets its Studds and SMK brands in over 70 countries across Americas, Asia, Europe and other regions.

The collaboration between STUDDS and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products brings DC superhero branding to the Indian two-wheeler accessories market, combining entertainment franchises with safety equipment manufacturing.
