New Delhi: Greaves Electric Mobility has appointed Samarpita Banerjee as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), strengthening its leadership team at a time when the company is scaling operations and preparing for its next phase of growth.
In her new role, Banerjee will lead the company’s overall human resources strategy, focusing on building scalable people practices to support expansion across manufacturing, technology and sales functions. She will report to Vikas Singh, Managing Director, Greaves Electric Mobility.
Banerjee brings over two decades of experience in human resources, organisation development and leadership transformation across multiple industries. Prior to joining Greaves Electric Mobility, she served as Director – Human Resources at Carrier Corporation, where she led HR strategy for digital, engineering and business services functions, along with the APAC technology organisation. Her earlier stints include senior HR leadership roles at Wipro, Diageo, Solera and Novozymes.
The company has a presence across electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers, multiple manufacturing locations and a pan-India dealership network, and is working towards building future-ready leadership as it advances its long-term business roadmap.
Banerjee will be based at the company’s headquarters in Bengaluru. She holds an MBA in Human Resources and a master’s degree in Econometrics.
