Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) has announced the commercial launch of Swayamgati Cargo, described as India’s first autonomous electric cargo three-wheeler. The vehicle, priced at ₹4.15 lakhs, is designed for use in industrial parks, airports, manufacturing hubs, and logistics facilities.
The cargo variant builds on OSM’s Swayamgati passenger autonomy platform and incorporates AI-driven technology including Lidar, GPS navigation, multi-sensor systems, and AI-based obstacle detection with a range of up to six meters. The vehicle operates on pre-mapped routes that can be customized for specific operational environments.
According to the company, Swayamgati Cargo offers a driving range of up to 120 kilometers and is optimized for intra-campus logistics applications. The vehicle is intended for controlled environments such as gated facilities, e-commerce fulfillment centers, SEZs, and smart cities.
Dr. Uday Narang, Founder and Chairman of Omega Seiki Mobility, stated that the launch represents a step toward building India’s autonomous mobility ecosystem, emphasizing that the technology has been designed and engineered domestically at a commercially viable price point.
The company has set a deployment target of 1,500 autonomous cargo and passenger units over the next 24 months. OSM operates manufacturing facilities in Faridabad and Chakan (Pune), along with an international assembly plant in Dubai. The company maintains a network of over 200 dealerships and service centers across India.
Bookings for Swayamgati Cargo opened on December 1, 2025, with deliveries scheduled to begin in the current quarter. The vehicle completed Phase 1 pilot testing on a three-kilometer route and is now entering Phase 2 commercial deployment.
The cargo three-wheeler is positioned for applications including industrial material movement, airport baggage handling, warehousing operations, and e-commerce logistics. OSM claims the vehicle offers lower operating and maintenance costs compared to traditional utility vehicles used in similar applications.
