After today’s results in the mixed curling, the semifinal spots are secured. Britain, USA, Italy and Sweden are through to the final four.
Britain sits atop the standings at 8-1 after its victory over Italy, while USA’s 6-2 record secures second place, following tonight’s win over Estonia.
Defending gold medalists Italy (5-3) sit in third place, with Sweden (5-4) in fourth. The eliminated countries are: Switzerland, Canada, South Korea, Norway, Czechia and Estonia.
There are still round-robin games tomorrow morning to determine the second, third and fourth seeds. So, Italy and the U.S. will play while Britain and Sweden can take the morning off.
The semifinals take place tomorrow at 12 p.m. ET. The gold medal match is Tuesday at noon ET.
