The Swedish company Uniti has completed a moving prototype of the Uniti One. The development of the electric car was financed by crowdfunding. The car will come in the coming year for less than 20,000 euros on the market.

Uniti One is a small vehicle that is comparable in size to the Smart. It is intended primarily for city traffic and should be available as a two- and four-seater. The range gives Uniti depending on the application with 150 to 300 kilometers. The car is not suitable for turf: It accelerates in 3.5 seconds from a standstill to 80 kilometers per hour. The maximum speed is limited to 130 kilometers per hour.
To increase the range, the developers have saved mainly on the weight: the car weighs only 400 kilograms. The body is made of lightweight materials, including carbon fiber reinforced plastic, but also biocomposites.
