The car rental company Grupo Europcar has changed its corporate name to Europcar Mobility Group, in order to reflect the transformation being carried out by the company, the French company said in a statement.
The firm highlighted that, since 2014, it is experiencing “a deep transformation” of its business, thanks to the international growth it is registering, with the integration of new forms of car rental and also diversifying its activities beyond its traditional rental business vehicular.
Thus, the corporation said it has become a provider of mobility solutions that offers a wide range of services, such as car rental, vans and trucks, as well as services with driver, car sharing and car sharing between particular.
The CEO of Europcar Mobility Group, Caroline Parot, said that there is a need in the market for global providers of mobility solutions that make life easier for people.
“Taking into account the needs that we have identified in the market and our main strengths, among which are a wide network worldwide and a recognized experience in fleet management, we believe that fulfilling this mission will allow us to create value and grow sustainable way, “added the directive.
The new name change was approved during the last annual meeting of shareholders and the company stressed that, as part of Europcar Mobility Group, each of the brands of the consortium will be “reinforced and dedicated to specific territories” to increase interaction with your customers.
Europcar Mobility Group is made up of the Europcar, Goldcar, InterRent, Buchbinder, Ubeeqo, Bluemove, GoCar, E-car Club, Scooty, Brunel, Snappcar and Wanderio brands.
