In a letter from the Opel management, this date was reported to the workforce, according to the spokesman. Accordingly, an agreement had also been reached on the issue of patents for Opel models, the previous parent company General Motors belong. Of the Peugeot Parent company PSA who also 2017 with red numbers in the Rüsselsheim automaker expects, wants to take over the German competitor and organize it cheaper. The result would be Europe’s second-largest carmaker after Volkswagen. The French should pay for the GM Europe business including the British Opel sister Vauxhall and the financial sector around 2.2 billion euros.
