The world’s first autonomous container crane wagon drives on the port of Shanghai.
In the Chinese metropolis Shanghai the first autonomous container crane truck in the world debuts, according to the presentation in China.

The vehicle resembles a forklift, except that this shipping container loads and stacks. It is used to delete, load and transport the cargo within the port area. The container wagon has been in service since January 14th.
The vehicle was developed by the Westwell Lab and Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry. It has both radar and camera sensors. The goal is to improve the efficiency of the harborbecause the vehicle creates 50 percent more than it would be operated by a human.
Already in June, the container car in the control mode go over and by the end of the year you want to have a whole fleet together.
