The Administrative Court of Appeal of Bordeaux had annulled October 12 last the Plan of safeguard of the employment (PSE) of the La Souterraine plant (Creuse). In question, the criteria validated by the Regional Directorate of Labor to develop the plan to keep only the oldest employees. And, according to employees, accelerate the death of the company.
The court of appeal ruled since the administrative court of Limoges rejected the cancellation request in May 2018. The PES had taken over 120 employees. 157 had been dismissed. Of these, 55 complained to the labor courts to be compensated.
Combat on fight
The first victory in October is not an end in itself. The employees want to judge those they consider responsible for the fall of the former equipment manufacturer. They therefore filed a complaint in early November against PSA and Renault for “abuse of dominant position”.
Employees accuse the two customers of the equipment manufacturer to have left him in a situation of economic dependence. The first manufacturer has closed the door to the request for conciliation by noting in a letter of his legal dictator that PSA had “respected its commitments”. While Renault has made no answer.

85 former employees of the former automotive supplier, with 33 other employees taken over, point to compensation for damages. They are asking for a compensation of 80,000 euros per licensed employee and 20,000 euros for the staff taken over by LSI. A total of 7.4 million euros.
