OTTAWA, Nov 26 (Reuters) – Ford Motor Co has no plans to carry out an auto plant shutdown in Canada along the lines of the closure announced by General Motors Co, the head of the automaker’s Canadian operation said on Monday.
“(We have) no plans to do anything like that,” Mark Buzzell, president and chief executive office of the Ford Motor Company of Canada, told reporters after a meeting in Ottawa with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. (Reporting by David Ljunggren; Editing by Dan Grebler)
