Good morning Neighbors,
Union Square to the Marina and Cow Hollow in 14 minutes?
As the Central Subway project nears completion, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) is starting public outreach which will inform the possible extension of the Central Subway to North Beach, Fisherman’s Wharf, and further west towards the Marina, Cow Hollow, and the Presidio.
Please save the date and join us on Wednesday, December 5, 6 pm to 8 pm at Marina Middle School’s cafeteria (3500 Fillmore Street) for a kickoff meeting cohosted by Supervisor Catherine Stefani and the SFMTA. We want to hear your ideas and concerns about a potential subway extension, as well as your input on which routes and station locations to study. SFMTA staff will share results from prior studies and host conversations about extending the Central Subway.
Additionally, if you would like the project team to present the materials at your community organization meeting please reach out to Adrienne Heim, Public Information Officer, Adrienne.Heim@sfmta.com.
For more information or to direct your colleagues and neighbors to sign up for updates, visit Central Subway Extension. For questions about the study, please contact Kansai Uchida, Project Manager, Kansai.Uchida@sfmta.com.
