Since mid-2016, Germans have been able to get new electric cars to be purchased from the state. Well over 91,000 people have asked for the program so far, in June 2019 it should expire. Which cars were the most popular? An overview:
44,601 times last year, Germans applied for the state electric car purchase premium – nearly 7,000 times more than the year before. All in all, a good 91,000 applications have been received by the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (Bafa) since mid-2016. These cars were the most popular:
