Yoshi Closes $13.7m in Series A Funding

Yoshi, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a subscription service for on-site car maintenance and gas delivery, closed $13.7m in Series A funding.

The round was led by General Motors Ventures and ExxonMobil with participation from Y Combinator, Kevin Durant & Rich Kleiman (The Durant Company), Arab Angel and others.

The company intends to use the funds to further accelerate its geographic expansion.

Led by CEO Nick Alexander, Yoshi delivers gas, oil changes, car washes, and numerous other car maintenance services directly to customers’ cars while they are parked, The service is currently operating in the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, Austin, Nashville and Atlanta.Additionally, Yoshi services many fleets, including rental cars, delivery service vehicles, highway patrol cars, and even school buses.
