MADRID, 28 Jan. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Audi has expanded its offer of premium mobility in Europe and has launched ‘Audi on demand’ in Barcelona (Spain), where it opened the first service center on January 21 with a local partner of the brand of four rings in the city condal, as reported by the company in a statement.

With ‘Audi on demand’ in Barcelona, customers can select the desired vehicle from a wide range of current models, reserving it online and then pick it up at the “Superwagen Sant Cugat” dealership. The reservation period ranges from one hour to 28 days.

The Spanish Audi partner is following the example of eight dealers in the United Kingdom. Last year, the digital service was integrated into its commercial operations for the first time. “Our experiences in the UK have been excellent, so we look forward to launching this product in another European market,” said Audi Business Innovation (ABI) manager Bettina Bernhardt.

With ‘Audi on demand’, dealers obtain additional customer groups and sales opportunities, use their own vehicle fleets more efficiently and increase their flexibility through used cars. Payment depends, among other things, on the number of reservations and customer satisfaction.

The automaker plans to successively expand its network for premium mobility with local sales partners in numerous cities around the world in 2019. The company is promoting the integration of ‘Audi on demand’ in the dealership business and is offering support integral of its associated companies.

The complete package includes the development of the Information Technology infrastructure and marketing support, as well as the establishment of operational processes. In addition, during the course of the year, customers will be able to access the entire ‘Audi on demand’ fleet in Europe by simply registering online.
