Acton Optics & Coatings’ new line of broadband UV-NIR neutral density filters can provide performance down to 190 nm. According to Acton Optics & Coatings, the new filters are appropriate for use with broadband sources like xenon, deuterium, and tungsten halogen, and have been designed for precision optical systems, spectrometers, and medical systems.

The new broadband UV-NIR neutral density filters have standard densities ranging from 0.3 OD to 2.5 OD and can be stacked to create other density values. The filter coatings can be deposited on custom-sized substrates for OEM applications.
