The enterprise iRobot is a leader in the production of robot vacuum cleanersas they are now found in more and more households. The useful suckers load themselves and suck when nobody bothers them – time-controlled.

Now iRobot pushes into a new, but similar field: the robot lawn mower and the model from iRobot is called Terra robotic mowers, The mower is not yet on the market, but it has informed the public in advance about the development.
The robot mower Terra is robust, completely autonomous and needs no cable. For orientation, he uses so-called radio beacons and the Geofence falls away with it. These beacons are battery-powered and last for about a year. In winter, when the garden is winterized, the batteries should be removed and replaced in the spring.
What the fun will cost has not yet been announced. Even when the iRobot mower Terra comes on the market, is not yet secured. Maybe this should be done already in the autumn of this year.
