The e-NV200 Van, which has been produced exclusively for use worldwide by the Nissan Motor Ibérica factory in Barcelona since 2014, is seeing a significant increase in demand, according to the manufacturer. In 2018, production increased by 50 percent over the previous year to 6,000 units.
The e-NV200, recently also called camper was received, although received a new 40 kWh battery pack for more range, but still comes after the WLTP combined cycle only 200 km far.
The e-NV200 has a payload of 705 kg and enough cargo space for two Euro pallets. Interestingly, the battery pack is not the same as in the Leaf, because Nissan integrated an active thermal management system into the e-NV200. In addition to the battery pack, the vehicle has a few new features such as an improved onboard charger, which now works with 6 kW.
As with the Leaf, a bi-directional charging technology was also installed in the e-NV200, which allows the operator to feed the energy stored in the battery back into the grid. The vehicle also has a power outlet where users can plug in tools. According to Nissan, they can pull 1,000 W out of this connection for up to 15 hours. The e-NV200 is available in both passenger and freight versions.
