BILBAO, 25 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Mercedes-Benz Vitoria has started this Monday the three scheduled shutdown days (25, 26 and 27 February) as a result of the drop in sales of diesel vehicles derived from uncertainty about the future of these engines, days in which they will be left of producing around 2,040 units, according to sources confirmed by the company to Europa Press.

The plant from Mercedes-Benz has already programmed several days without production between the months of October and December last year.

The Alava plant, which has a staff of 4,950 people, has an estimated production for this year of a total of 152,000 units.
