NEW DELHI: Italian luxury sports car manufacturer Automobili Lamborghini on February 23-24, celebrates a decade of its journey in India with ‘Lamborghini day’ in the pink city of Jaipur. Inaugurated in the presence of Lamborghini Chairman & Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Stefano Domenicali, the ocassion marked the carmaker’s achievement of selling 200 Lamorghinis in India.
“We are delighted to be strengthening our relationship with the growing number of super car enthusiasts in India through Lamborghini Day. It has been a very exciting journey over the last decade for Lamborghini and during the last 2 to 3 years the super luxury segment in India has witnessed very encouraging and exciting trends. In India, while the market is relatively small, in terms of consumer preferences it is as evolved as any other part of the world. The luxury customer is used to bespoke experiences and no one can offer this better than Lamborghini,” said Stefano Domenicali, Lamborghini Chairman & CEO.
The gathering was attended by Lamborghini customers from across the country along with the global leadership team, commemorated by a drive on the streets of Jaipur.
“Their safety is our utmost priority and we ensure that all safety measures are taken care of. Lamborghini has consistently grown in India and we will continue to exert our leadership in the coming years,” he added.
According to an official statement, Lamborghini has a program called service clinic wherein a technician from Italy visits once a year to check and certify each and every Lamborghini on Indian road. Lamborghini currently sells three models in India, Huracan, Evo and Urus.
