Hérimoncourt: PSA confirms the closure of the site and the transfer of employees by the summer of 2020

No hope. The unions had made the trip to Poissy hoping at least an external expertise that would proceed to the economic analysis of the project of transfer of the activity and its foundations.

The management refused this expertise explains a union source. In Hérimoncourt, the first starts will take place in 5 to 6 months. The others will stretch until the summer of 2020.

PSA has confirmed that it will accompany employees on mobility projects or voluntary departures. The site will then be transferred. He currently employs 204 people.

Historic plant of PSA born in 1833 next to Sochaux, Hérimoncourt is under the threat of its closure because of a project of transfer of its main activity, spare parts to Vesoul in Haute-Saône, its world center for detached pieces.

The unions oppose the transfer, believing that the activity concerned in Hérimoncourt is sufficiently profitable.
