The automaker Hyundai will introduce in 2020 a third generation platform in the new models that will launch in the European market, according to the company, which said that this innovation will improve safety and driving pleasure.
“This innovative, completely new modular platform follows the family of first generation global modular platforms of 2008 and the second generation platform, introduced in 2013,” the South Korean company explained.
The Vice President of Marketing and Products of Hyundai in Europe, Andreas Christpoh Hofmann, said that the new technology will increase the competitiveness in the market of the future Hyundai vehicles, since it will improve the overall design, safety and performance.
From the company they pointed out that this innovation achieves significant safety improvements in the field of collisions, since it adopts a multiple load trajectory structure and integrates a high strength steel plate.
Likewise, the driving pleasure is also improved, with a system that controls the air flow, achieving to reinforce the stability of the vehicle and also the aerodynamics, which increases the efficiency in fuel consumption.
