The car maker is investing around ten billion euros in the development of electric cars.

Daimler have led the new round of financing by Sila Nano Technologies, in which the start-up could collect 170 million US dollars (about 150 million euros), said the US-based company based in Alameda, California on Tuesday.
How much money comes from Daimler, is not known. However, according to its own statements, the car company acquired a minority stake in the start-up and secured a seat on the board of directors.
