Only recently has the insurance HUK Coburg announced to offer more telematics tariffs. What was previously reserved for younger travelers is now to be offered for older vehicle owners. Also the alliance now go this way.
A telematics tariff means that the driving style is evaluated and depending on whether you drive carefully, you get a discount. Driving data such as speed, braking and acceleration behavior and cornering are evaluated. For this you have to install a telematics box in the vehicle, with many Privacy concerns express.
