A recent study by Perceptum revealed that carsharing services could reduce traffic in Bucharest and other large cities in Romania by 25%, Business Review reported.
The survey also found that allowing carsharing services to operate in Romania would reduce the need for parking spaces, cut maintenance costs by up to 40%, and decrease carbon dioxide emissions by 290 kilograms per carshare user.
Perceptum’s report is based on information collected from 30 carsharing platforms throughout Europe.
