Free2Move, Groupe PSA’s mobility brand, is enhancing its service offering with the launch of Rent service.
This short-term car hire service, 100% digital with the 24/7 service, allows individual customers and businesses to rent Peugeot, Citroën, DS Automobiles, Opel and Vauxhall vehicles through a single online platform.
Now available in France, the service will be progressively rolled out in Italy, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Austria, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
By the end of 2019, nearly 20,000 passenger cars and light commercial vehicles will be available in Europe in 1,300 agencies, positioning Free2Move Rent as a local car hire service with a dense network of agencies.
Free2Move Rent offers a simple customer journey developed by TravelCar (a start‑up that was recently acquired by Groupe PSA for its digital expertise in car rentals) and a 100% digital experience with the 24/7 service.
The 24/7 service allows, at any time from your smartphone, to book, open, start the vehicle and then complete the rental. This service is available in France and will be progressively deployed in various European countries.
With Rent service, customers benefit from an optional insurance adapted to young drivers, a reduced car deductible and a roadside assistance.
