Jeep reviews the Renegade lineup

The manufacturer’s urban SUV is now available in 5 trim levels, up from 10 in September 2017. It is also available in a limited series called “Aspen”.

Simplicity also seems to be the order of the day in SUVs. In any case, this is the case with Jeep: its Renegade range edition 2018 includes indeed five levels of finish (they were still ten in November 2017). Now, the brand’s urban SUV is only available in Sport, Longitude, Longitude Business, Limited and Trailhawk finishes. “The Advanced Technologies versions of the Limited and Trailhawk are now available as packs to give the customer the ability to configure their Renegade as they wish,” says Jeep.

Other innovations are none the less at the rendezvous with the urban SUV of the brand in its 2018 version. As of the Longitude Business finish, the Renegade now includes a new touch screen of 8.4 “( the same as the one deployed on the Grand Cherokee). “The Apple Carplay and Android Auto connections are also included in this feature,” adds FCA, and the Renegade 2018 edition has also seen a lot of improvements over its predecessor, the For example, the USB port of the central armrest has been moved towards the rear of the console so that it can also be used by the passengers.

The urban SUV is also offered in a limited series called “Aspen”. Available only in tension and developed on the basis of the Longitude finish, it is accessible with the 1.6l petrol engine of 110hp (BVM5) and the diesel engines 1.6l Multijet of 95hp and 2.0l Multijet of 120hp (BVM6). In this limited edition, the Renegade is fitted with 18 “alloy wheels and includes standard equipment such as a reversing radar or the UConnect multimedia system with 8.4” touch screen. The prices of this limited edition are 22900, 24350 or 27500 € TTC.
