India Dealbook: FnO raises $2m; Droom gets $10m from parent

In the latest startup funding, FnO has raised $2 million in an angel funding round while Droom has received $10 million from its Singapore-based holding entity.

FnO raises $2 million

Fintech startup built for futures trading FnO has raised $2 million in an angel funding round, The Economic Times reported.

While the investors were not disclosed, the report said top executives of banks, financial services, asset management and consumer internet companies invested in their personal capacities.

FnO plans to use the funding to launch its product in India and also expand to other geographies.

Droom gets $10m from parent

Automobile marketplace Droom has received $10 million in Series F funding from its Singapore-based holding entity, said media reports.

Droom Pte. Ltd has picked up 2,34,561 equity shares priced at Rs 2,964.68 each in the Indian entity.

According to Crunchbase, Droom has raised a total of $133 million in funding till date. It had raised $30 million in Series E funding round led by the family office of Japanese investor Joe Hirao in October last year.
