The Spanish manufacturer of components for automotive Gestamp will distribute a dividend of 0.07 euros gross per share charged to the company’s results of 2018, according to nofitificada the company to the National Cominision of the Stock Market (CNMV).
The payment of the complementary dividend will be made effective on July 5 by the CaixaBank agent entity, through the entities participating in the Management Company of the Securities Registration, Compensation and Settlement Systems (Iberclear), taking place on the aforementioned amount. gross the withholding required by the applicable regulations.
This dividend, which will reach a maximum amount of 40.28 million euros, is added to that approved last December by the board and distributed in mid-January, for an amount of 0.065 euros gross per share.
Gestamp’s new dividend policy contemplates that the company will continue distributing an annual total dividend of about 30% of the consolidated net profit of each year, although it will be in two payments per year, anticipating part of the payment with an interim dividend.
The Spanish multinational closed 2018 with a net profit of 257.6 million euros, representing an increase of 7.5% compared to 2017, while its revenues reached 8,547 million euros, 4.2% more, and its gross operating profit (Ebitda) improved by 7.9% to 961 million.
