The Peugeot e-Legend, inspired by the legendary 504 Coupé, exhibited at Sochaux

There is only one in the world and it will be present at the Peugeot Adventure Museum in Sochaux, from Tuesday, July 9 to July 16. The e-Legend Concept, inspired by the mythical 504 Coupé of the late 70s, will return to the museum from 23 July to 18 August.

The concept car had caused a sensation during its presentation at the Paris Motor Show 2018. But its marketing has never been a goal for the Lion brand. More than 50,000 Internet users had signed a petition to encourage Peugeot to launch a mass production, last October.

A futuristic retro car

It is first and foremost a product of the brand, which intends to show its know-how on the shows. If its lines adopt a retro style, the machine is actually 100% electric, autonomous and connected.

The success of this exhibition model made the management of the company think about possible commercialization. However, the current infrastructure does not yet allow the development of autonomous vehicles. In the meantime, one of the first of its kind, built in the Paris region, returns to the historic grounds of Peugeot.
